When you arrive at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and transferred by road to the northern part of the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve for the start of your South Africa safari.

Depending on your time of arrival at the Lodge, you may have the chance for an afternoon game drive. Enjoy morning, afternoon and night game drives in search of the Big Five. Guests are also able to enjoy a walking safari where you get to learn more about the smaller, finer details of the African bush. The Sabi Sands is renowned as the best place in Africa to see the elusive leopard.

Day 4 - 5:
Sabi Sands - Cape Winelands
From the Sabi Sands you transfer back to Hoedspruit in time for a flight to Cape Town where you are met and transferred by road to the Cape Winelands for the next 2-nights. There is so much to do on the working wine farm of Boschendal including a walking tour, mountain biking, hiking or horse riding. When you're there: Franschhoek. ‘French Corner’ in Afrikaans. There, surrounded by mountains, is one of South Africa’s oldest towns. It’s a valley of wine farms and Cape Dutch homes and is packed with French heritage. 400 years ago the Huguenots arrived, clutching their wine making manuals. Now it’s the centre of the country’s wine production. And most farms are still named after the towns the settlers came from - Chamonix, La Motte, Provence. All in all, it’s an excellent start for this tour. Plus, despite being tiny, it’s regularly described as one of the world’s gastronomic capitals. Hungry? Go get yourself sorted. You’ll be staying at Ashbourne House in the middle of town.
Refreshed? Ok. So if you need to walk it off there are lots of trails around the Drakenstein and Wemmershoek mountains. They circle the town so you can’t exactly miss them.
And now you basically have the difficult task of deciding which of the many wine estates you’re going to visit. As well as Franschhoek you could explore Stellenbosch and Paarl. Taste the wine, explore a cellar, book a picnic on the lawn.

From the Cape Winelands you transfer to the heart of Cape Town for the next 4-nights. Located in the heart of Cape Town you are in the perfect location to explore the city, Waterfront, Table Mountain and nearby beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. We have included a Cape Point Tour for one of the days. On this tour you will get to experience Boulders Beach and its penguin colony, Cape Point, Simon's Town, Muizenberg, Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak.
